The Plan

I should start off by mentioning that this “plan” is, and always will be quite a loose plan. I learned years ago that you can sometimes get the most out of a trip (or life?) by just going with the flow. I’m not going to Europe to see sights like the Eiffel Tower. I’m going for the whole experience (of which the Eiffel Tower will be a part of), so why structure the trip around sights?

As it stands now, the plan works a little something like this: I fly to Europe.. specifically Heathrow Airport, London, England on May 1st, 2006. From there, I will spend some time in London, and then travel to various other places in Great Britan. Some of those places include Scotland, Wales, Ireland, the Guiness brewery, and Cornwall, where my people are from (and my good friend England).

From there, a flight to mainland Europe is in order. Perhaps out of Ireland, as I hear flights are cheapest from Dublin. I’m thinking that I will start in France, as this has been my plan for some time. I speak French, so why not go to a French speaking country with beautiful women (and wine, and cheese)? There are many areas of France that I want to check out, so I figure I will be there for awhile. No longer than the legally allowed 3 months however!

At that point, I will go spend some time with my friends Christina and Jonathan who are moving to Brussels.

From there, I really just see myself working my way around Europe bit by bit. I really want to get back Italy. I love it there, and there is still much to see!

I also want to spend some times in the Alps as a ski bum. Get up everyday, and snowboard!! Maybe I’ll get a job working for a heliskiing company as a photographer or something. That would rock. If anyone knows anyone who could help me get situated in something like this, PLEASE let me know! :D

Enter Phase Two. Phase two starts with a flight to Australlia. From there, I will hit New Zealand, and then work my way up through Asia, and perhaps over to India. I’ve been doing a lot of reading about New Zealand, and I’m really looking forward to it.

Africa. I don’t know much about Africa, but it’s still on the list.

South America. Not sure when this will come together, but there are many places in South America that I want to check out.

It’s not much of a plan, I know. More of an idea really.. but there it is. I will update this page periodically to reflect my changing thoughts.
