The Ticks of New Forest

Thursday, September 21st, 2006

Before leaving Canada, I had heard and read about this beautiful place in the South bit of England called the New Forest. Sadly, I didn’t think that I would make it there as I saw it as out of reach, as well as I never ended up getting a tent to come along with me.

I was interested in meeting him, as well as looking forward to seeing what all this raved about Brighton nightlife was like. (more…)

I hit an Internet café and made a list of places that I’d like to hit. From there, I went through the list and searched for accommodation in each place. It was Friday night however, and people were coming to town to party. My results were less than encouraging. At this point it was nearly 7:00pm, and I had yet to figure out where I was going, or where I was staying. The place I had been staying near Piccadilly (where my packed and ready to go bag was stored) was booked as well. I started looking elsewhere in London, admitting defeat in that I would not be leaving London after all. (more…)
