The Isle of Avalon

When I had initially made a reservation at Glastonbury Bacpackers, I figured that I’d stay for four or five days. I figured that this would be ample time to check out the few things that the town had to offer, and then kick up the feet an grab some R&R. Upon check-in however, I was compelled to check in for a week, as four days goes by so quickly. It helped that the manager/owner, Ben, checked me in and was a super nice, laid back guy. (more…)

Boys Meets Organization

After many days spent trying to find accommodations for the evening, I decided it was time to start planning things a bit better than I had been. The biggest trouble with this was that I had to know where I was going in order to book into a hostel. Oh, the commitment that would be needed!

I sat down and came up with a list of places to go, and decided how many days that I figured would be good in each. First stop would be Brighton to meet up with James for a few days, from there, across the coast to Dover for a couple days to check out the castle and cliffs, up to Liverpool for a day (to pick up my mobile), and then down to Glastonbury for some undefined amount of time.
